I have started it so I can keep you updated with my travels this year. This has been a week of goodbyes....friends, relatives, church family. It's a bit surreal, I'm going through the motions but I don't think my brain has yet cottoned on to what it all actually means! Meanwhile, my bedroom looks like a bomb site - clothes scattered around, piles of 'stuff' to sort through (mostly things I feel emotionally attached to and am trying to convince myself I don't really need!) - so basically, there is more stuff out of my suitcase than in :) I had a restless night last night thinking about how I was going to get my 2 bags out of a foreign airport, on to a train and travel halfway across Switzerland when they are so heavy I can hardly pick them up off the floor! Ahh, fun times. I didn't call this an adventure for nothing!
I'm blessed to be going with a friend of mine, Joey. I'm so thankful I don't have to be brave on my own! Joey and I compliment each other perfectly...she's so relaxed about everything and I'm so totally not! She reminds me to smile when I would otherwise be crying :)
